SYSTEM RTDR High frequency electrical noise (Traveling Waves) couples into EMI susceptible equipment becoming part of the signal. Knowing this, CHAR Services has developed a proprietary testing technique that uses time delays to determine where the EMI couples into a system. This testing technique is performed on the cables, typically inside the control room rack. CHAR Services refers to this technique as the Reverse Time Domain Reflectometer (RTDR). |
